Welcome film lovers and fan-edit enthusiasts alike!
My goal as a fan-editor is to create edits that allow people new to the source material (or perhaps just those who have not seen the content in a while) to understand the story without having to sit through multiple hours of film. Sometimes people want to know about the Hobbit story without watching almost 10 hours of content. Or maybe they want to rewatch the Star Wars Prequels before the new Star Wars show comes out but they don't wanna sit through a trilogy of movies. My goal is to create fan-edits for those people.
Unlike many other fan edits that include color grading, special effects, or soundtrack altering, I try to keep my edits as simplistic as possible. I may delete scenes, cut them, or re-arrange them. Very rarely will I change music or adjust volume, only if I find it completely necessary to make the edit smooth. Lastly, I will sometimes adjust opening credits to fit better with the opening of the movie. Besides that, I try and keep the film as close to what the director originally intended to gave us as possible.
Questions, concerns, and reviews are always welcome! Enjoy!
